Below is a price grid with instructions on how to price a piece of art. Pricing is based on 2 things: square inches and price class.
All pricing is figured by square inch.* The following price grid contains different price levels based on total square inch.
It also contains common size examples (3 left columns:see red type below) at each price level.
Actual art "sizes" and "aspect ratios" vary and can be calculated by figuring their total sq inches.* See calculation instructions below.
*Square inch calculation: multiply desired height in inches by desired width in inches which equals your total sq inches. ( ie25"x40"=750sq")
Then find the sq inch price level in column four "for custom sizes" see blue type.
Note: round up to the next highest level. (ie 750 would be in price category "841 sq inch" price level: see blue type below)
At that price level there are only 2 possible prices: "price class 1 or 2": this designation is in the top right corner of each piece of art
Once you know a particular piece of art's price class you have your price: see green type below price class 1=$425 and class 2=$550
